Where your donation money goes
A couple buddies and I had promised ourselves for years that we'd bring a project full circle. Last week, we acted on that promise by heading afield. The Build A Wildlife Area effort began for me five summers ago when Joe Duggan and Bob St. Pierre from Pheasants Forever pitched the idea to me and several other Outdoor News staffers. As outdoors writer Ron Hustvedt has detailed in this publication many times since, the cause has been a tremendous financial success, with dozens of partners joining the effort to raise dollars to create wildlife management area acreage in Minnesota and beyond.
